ListForge respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information used to provide the ListForge Chrome extension, website, and related services.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ListForge collects, how that information is used, when it may be shared, how it is stored, and the choices available to users. By using ListForge, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

01Information We Collect
ListForge may collect or process the following categories of information.
Account information
When you create an account or sign in with Google, ListForge may receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your Google account profile image
- A unique Google account identifier
- Authentication and session information needed to keep you signed in securely
ListForge does not receive or store your Google password.
eBay account information
When you connect an eBay account, ListForge may access or process information permitted by the eBay authorization scopes you approve, including:
- Your eBay username and public seller profile information
- Seller feedback score, feedback percentage, and feedback rating
- Public seller profile image, when available
- Business policies, including payment, return, and fulfillment policy identifiers
- Inventory locations
- Active, completed, recovered, or ListForge-created listings
- Listing identifiers, titles, prices, quantities, images, item specifics, and listing status
- Order, sale, buyer shipping, fulfillment, and tracking information needed to manage orders
- Authentication tokens used to connect ListForge to your eBay account
ListForge does not receive or store your eBay password.
Amazon product information
When you choose a supported Amazon product or use a ListForge product-discovery feature, ListForge may collect or process publicly available product information, including:
- Product URL and ASIN
- Product title and description
- Product images
- Price and availability
- Ratings and sales indicators
- Brand, model, manufacturer, and part number information
- Product dimensions, materials, colors, sizes, quantities, and specifications
- Category and product variation information
ListForge does not collect unrelated Amazon account information, Amazon passwords, personal messages, order history, or payment card information.
Listing and product data
ListForge may store information associated with listings created, managed, queued, or recovered through the service, including:
- Listing drafts
- AI-generated titles and descriptions
- Item specifics
- Pricing and markup settings
- Images and source product links
- Listing status and error information
- Queue and publishing status
- eBay item IDs, offer IDs, and SKU values
- Listing creation and start dates
- Recovery and synchronization information
Order and sales data
To provide the Orders page and live account statistics, ListForge may process:
- Order identifiers
- Item titles and images
- Sale prices and quantities
- Order dates
- Shipping and fulfillment status
- Tracking information
- Buyer shipping information where required to fulfill or manage an order
- Revenue and order totals
ListForge uses this information only to provide order-management, fulfillment, tracking, and account-statistics features.
Membership and billing information
ListForge may collect or store:
- Membership level
- Credit balance
- Credit purchase history
- Subscription status
- Payment transaction identifiers
- Billing status and renewal information
Payment card details are processed by third-party payment providers. ListForge does not directly store full payment card numbers or card security codes.
Extension usage, settings, and technical information
ListForge may collect or store:
- Extension preferences and configuration
- Listing templates
- Pricing, quantity, advertisement rate, and markup settings
- Selected categories and filters
- Queue state
- Local cache state
- Authentication state
- Basic diagnostic information, error messages, and service logs
- Browser-generated extension identifiers and session identifiers
- Dates and times associated with account activity and feature use
Diagnostic information is used to maintain reliability, investigate errors, prevent duplicate actions, and improve the service.
02Local Browser Storage and Unlimited Storage
ListForge uses Chrome extension storage to save information needed for the extension to function reliably.
This may include:
- Extension settings and preferences
- Product information and images
- Listing drafts and metadata
- Queue and publishing state
- Recovered listing information
- Order and sales caches
- Authentication and session state
- Interface state and temporary diagnostic information
ListForge requests the Chrome unlimitedStorage permission because users may process large numbers of products, listings, images, orders, and recovery records. The permission helps prevent storage limits from interrupting bulk listing, recovery, synchronization, and order-management operations.
Locally stored data is used only to provide ListForge functionality. It is not sold or used for behavioral advertising.
Removing the extension may remove data stored locally by the extension, although information associated with your ListForge account may remain on ListForge servers until deleted under the retention practices described below.
03How We Use Information
ListForge uses collected information to:
- Create and authenticate ListForge accounts
- Connect Google and eBay accounts
- Generate eBay listing titles, descriptions, and item specifics
- Create, publish, revise, recover, and manage eBay listings
- Identify important or required eBay item specifics
- Manage listing queues and prevent duplicate submissions
- Retrieve eBay business policies and inventory locations
- Display seller profile and feedback information
- Retrieve and display eBay Orders and sales statistics
- Assist with fulfillment and tracking
- Monitor supported products for price or availability changes when enabled
- Maintain memberships, subscriptions, and credit balances
- Process payments through third-party payment providers
- Save user preferences and listing settings
- Detect errors, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce applicable terms
ListForge does not use Google user data, eBay user data, Amazon product information, or order data for unrelated advertising.
04AI Processing
ListForge uses artificial intelligence to assist with listing creation and product-data organization.
Information sent for AI processing may include:
- Product titles and descriptions
- Product specifications
- Images or image-related information
- Brand, model, manufacturer, and part number data
- Category information
- Listing preferences
- Proposed item specifics
This information is sent only as needed to generate or improve listing content, categorize products, identify item specifics, or provide the feature requested by the user.
ListForge does not intentionally send passwords, payment card information, authentication tokens, or unrelated private communications to AI providers.
AI-generated content may contain errors. Users remain responsible for reviewing listing information before or after publication and for complying with eBay rules and applicable laws.
05How Information Is Shared
ListForge does not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
Information may be shared with service providers only when necessary to operate ListForge, including:
Google services may be used for account authentication and profile information when you choose Google sign-in.
eBay
Product, listing, account, order, fulfillment, and tracking information may be transmitted to or received from eBay to create and manage listings and orders.
AI service providers
Relevant product and listing information may be shared with AI providers to generate titles, descriptions, classifications, and item specifics.
Hosting and database providers
Account, listing, order, membership, and operational information may be stored or processed by cloud hosting, database, logging, and infrastructure providers.
Payment providers
Membership and credit purchase information may be shared with payment processors to complete transactions, prevent fraud, and manage subscriptions. ListForge does not directly store full payment card details.
Customer support and operational providers
Information may be processed by providers used for email, support, diagnostics, security, or service monitoring.
Legal and safety disclosures
ListForge may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request
- Protect the rights, safety, property, or security of ListForge, its users, or others
- Investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of applicable terms
- Complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate privacy protections
Service providers are permitted to receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services.
06Google API Limited Use Disclosure
ListForge’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information obtained from Google is used only to provide and improve user-facing ListForge features requested by the user, such as authentication and account identification.
ListForge does not use Google user data for advertising, sell Google user data, or allow humans to read Google user data except when:
- The user has provided affirmative consent
- It is necessary for security or abuse investigation
- It is required by law
- The data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operational purposes
07Authentication Tokens
ListForge may store Google, eBay, and ListForge authentication or refresh tokens needed to keep accounts connected.
These tokens:
- Are used only to authenticate authorized service requests
- Are not sold or used for advertising
- Are not publicly disclosed
- Are protected using reasonable technical safeguards
- May be revoked by signing out, disconnecting an account, revoking access through the applicable provider, or requesting account deletion
08Data Retention
ListForge retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Maintain your account
- Provide listing, recovery, order, and membership functionality
- Preserve records you expect to remain available
- Complete transactions
- Resolve disputes and support requests
- Prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations
Temporary caches, queue records, diagnostic logs, and failed-operation data may be deleted or overwritten periodically.
Some information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion before being permanently removed through normal backup rotation.
Data held directly by Google, eBay, Amazon, payment processors, or other third parties is governed by those providers’ own retention policies.
09Data Security
ListForge uses reasonable administrative, organizational, and technical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
These safeguards may include:
- Encrypted network transmission
- Restricted access to production systems
- Authentication and session controls
- Secure token handling
- Database access controls
- Logging and monitoring
- Service-provider security controls
No online system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their accounts, devices, Google accounts, and eBay accounts and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
10Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
You may:
- Sign out of ListForge
- Disconnect Google or eBay
- Revoke ListForge access through Google or eBay account settings
- Remove the extension from Chrome
- Change extension settings
- Request access to certain account information
- Request correction of inaccurate account information
- Request deletion of your ListForge account and associated data
- Contact ListForge with a privacy question or complaint
Some information may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or recordkeeping purposes.
Account deletion requests should include enough information to identify the account, such as the email address associated with ListForge.
11Third-Party Websites and Services
ListForge interacts with services operated by third parties, including Google, eBay, Amazon, AI providers, cloud hosting providers, and payment processors.
Their websites, applications, APIs, and privacy practices are governed by their own policies. ListForge is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.
ListForge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon unless explicitly stated otherwise. eBay and Amazon trademarks belong to their respective owners.
12Browsing Activity
ListForge accesses supported Amazon, eBay, and ListForge pages only as needed to provide its stated listing, scraping, account, clipboard, recovery, and order-management features.
ListForge does not collect or sell unrelated browsing history.
Website content accessed by the extension is limited to supported pages and information necessary for user-requested functionality.
13Children’s Privacy
ListForge is not intended for children under the age of 13, and ListForge does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If we learn that information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14International Processing
Information may be processed in the United States or other countries where ListForge or its service providers operate.
These locations may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. ListForge uses reasonable safeguards when transferring information as required by applicable law.
15Changes to This Privacy Policy
ListForge may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the extension, service providers, legal requirements, or data practices.
When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of the policy will be updated. Material changes may also be communicated through the extension, website, email, or Chrome Web Store listing where appropriate.
Continued use of ListForge after an updated policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
